Misogyny is a problem deeply ingrained in our society. The war on women can be seen in media images and the social climate between the sexes in western culture. Sexism, objectification, and the beauty ideal keep women as a sub-class as opposed to equals. Developing nations have their own battles against women, where women are oppressed and seen as “lesser than”. It’s a Worldwide problem that many dismiss. Feminism is not a bad word, it is what we NEED to overcome!
